Founded as a one man rep organization in 1978 with it’s headquarters in Carmel, Indiana, TMC has grown to become one of the Ohio Valley’s largest and fastest growing manufacturer’s representative firms.  Now in it’s fourth decade TMC still maintains it’s corporate offices in Carmel, and has expanded to 19 highly experienced employees actively supporting our customer’s new designs with our principals’ vast technology sets.  TMC’s long-term success stems from an unwavering commitment to be the industry’s best representative as measured by our customers, manufacturers, and distributors.  TMC has demonstrated this commitment through the many years via reinvestments in its people, its facilities, and the systems developed to better service it’s customers and principals.”

From humble beginnings to one of the most respected technology manufacturer representatives


Tom Heine and Loren Folk are hired as Outside Salesmen for Rich Electronic Marketing (REM).


Tom Heine and Loren Folk Purchase REM from Ron Rich. TMC and IR Sign Representation partnership, that lasts until the Infineon Purchase in 2015. REM is first in the marketplace to have a full time Distribution Manager on Staff.


TMC hosts First Annual TMC/Distributor Volleyball Tourney. TMC Begins Representing NEC America, and that relationship would last until 2011.


The Company is Renamed/Rebranded as Technology Marketing Corp (TMC).


TMC Expands into the Ohio/W.PA/W.Va Marketplace.


TMC is first in the Marketplace to have 3 Semiconductor FAE’s on Staff. TMC is one of the first Electronics Reps in the Country to develop a Web Site.


TMC Expands into the Michigan Marketplace. TMC is first in Market to have 3 full time Distribution Managers on Staff.


TMC Exceeds $150M / Year in Sales for the first time. Lexmark International becomes TMC’s 2nd $25M+/Yr Customer. Tom Heine passes away at the age of 48 and Loren Folk assumes the roll of President and CEO of TMC. TMC Reorganized as 3 LLP’s to allow greater Profit Sharing with it’s Employees.


Matt Folk becomes President of TMC. Loren Folk Maintains CEO Position.


TMC Expands the Carmel TMC Corporate Office.


TMC Opens Hong Kong Office.


TMC holds 25th Annual Tom Heine Memorial Volleyball Classic with Distribution Partners.


TMC Re-organizes as a S-Corp and one LLP.


After the NEC/Renesas Merger, TMC Moves to start Representation of Atmel Corp.


Loren Folk Retires as CEO. Matt Folk assumes rolls of President and CEO. TMC Becomes the Largest Atmel Rep Organization by Sales in the US.


TMC Begins Representation of Intersil, ISSI, and Diodes Inc.


TMC Merges with Mel Foster Company.
TMC: A Mel Foster Company completely upgrades it’s Computer, Back End, and Marketing Systems.
